Steampunk dragon by *Ironshod

This is the clock I made for my Senior Project in high school.  I bought the movement and then made the case from scratch out of mahogany and copper.  The numbers are etched into the glass door.  This way, the gears are exposed.

Got a request to post pictures of the steampunk headphones I made.
I think I might still add something to them: I may cover the cord with brown shoelace fabric, or attach new head straps, perhaps.  I had some leather ones I’d made, but they looked tacky, so I took them off earlier this year.

The sound quality is pretty good.  A bit tinny and echo-y, but I kinda like it.  Especially when listening to Abney Park, The Cog is Dead, and Caravan Palace.

Directions on making them can be found here.  This is one of only two steampunk mods/builds that I have finished, and I can attest that it’s a good starting point if you can get the materials.
